Has anyone here ever used Ritt (sp?) fabric dye or some similar product? I have a couple of projects I'd like to do involving dying some fabric, but I've never done it before and could use some pointers. In particular, I really want to get a very rich, plummy purple color in some inexpensive white cotton.

Got any tips?

I've been working on my tight-lacing at night and I'm really happy with how it's coming along. I comfortably sat around last night for about three hours with my chemise on under the corset while it was properly laced up. There was never any discomfort, pain, or difficulty in moving. So, you'd think that with my wedding less than three weeks away I'd be thinking about that more than future costuming ideas. However, sewing is theraputic for me and we never said I had my priorities straight. :-p
