Seriously you guys, feel free to shut me up anytime soon!
This is funny, but it kinda reveals exactly why, although I love the LGBT community, I will always have a dislike for labels.
We shouldn’t be so eager to pigeonhole people in ANY way, whether it’s straight or gay. I’ve been identifying as pansexual lately (cos it’s the non-labelist of all the labels lol), but I think that the best way to be is to just forego labels all together. You like who you like, and it doesn’t matter what gender they are, or even if they identify as gendered.
I think this would make a lot of the world’s problems go away. I mean, sexism wouldn’t be a problem either if we just accepted gender is fluid and abolished gender stereotyping.
Maybe in 100+ years? One can only hope.
Ooooh I forgot to tell y'all - the editor for next year came up to me and asked it I'd be interested in running some kind of monthly feminist review!

It's just an idea at this stage but how epic would that be! I mean, I'm really a humanist before I'm a feminist, and my ideas aren't what is typically viewed as feminism, but they are still FEMINIST in the sense of the ideology (not necessarily the movement).
So yeah. Just call me Simone de Beauvoir!
