A massive thunderstorm just rolled through Manhattan. We went from temps near 100 to temps in the 70s in a matter of minutes.  Hailstones the size of large marbles rained down outside my window.  Visibility was down to about four feet from my window.  Lightning was continuous ( Read more... )

It has been a particularly busy summer.  I've been working 12 hour days on a special project involving ebook amendments to 60 years worth of contracts.  There are times (often around 8:30 at night in my office) when I regret my earlier push to advance electronic reading into the mainstream.  I had not taken into account the incredibly difficult ( Read more... )
