We walked out to Kensington Market yesterday. It was a long walk made slightly unpleasant by the wind gusts. It wasn't cold - the temperature probably hovered between 8°c and 10°c, but the wind was unbearable and made me quite miserable.

We hit the Asobi Seksu concert at The Drake on Monday evening. The tickets had been bought months and months ago, apparently. Anyway, they were on an acoustic tour, and I really, really liked it.

The New York Dolls' show at Lee's last night was stunning. It's always good when you play crowd favourites off your first few albums. Considering the majority of the crowd had about 20 years on us.

It looks like we're going to be giving NXNE a miss. We don't want the pressure of having to go see every-freaking-show with a full festival pass (the most worth-it); and it's really hard to make a decision on a day pass (any day pass?!) when we've never heard of any of the bands... and looking them up on myspace is just a wee bit time-consuming ( Read more... )

Went to see The Pains (of being pure at ♥) at Lee's Palace last night. Good show - too bad I didn't bring my camera (also because I had a great seat and view of the stage).
