Christine and I had a great, but wet, visit to Dyrham Park last week .... because it was set for Christmas through the generations we need to go back on a better day in the summer.

... Yesterday I had a fun day.  I met up with Christine and we went to a Stately Home (photos to follow).  They had offered me an afternoon shift, but I decided to have the day off.  The weather forecast wasn't great ... we had torrential rain on the way there, but while there it was dry, even having a walk around some of the land.  So great fun ( Read more... )

This morning I walked out my front door to put some things in the bin, and noticed the bush as I walked past.  And. it actually occured to me that if I got the camera then I really could get a half-decent photo ...

Some years ago Tim and Claire bought me a great gift that I so rarely used, as Bude was always so very windy ... let me assure you that I'm glad I was able to use it today, both to and from work!
