I have managed to get my dental check-up done.  I had booked it, then changed it, then they changed it, then I changed it again!  Still all done today ... and she doesn't want to see me for another 9 months  ... unless I have problems, of course ( Read more... )

Well the tooth is sorted, sort of.  Where they replaced the tooth it is slightly in the wrong place, to get a secure fit ... but in doing so it doesn't lie smoothly in my mouth.  The dentist did remind me that after 3 weeks it will feel wrong, anyway, but overall I think I am going to see if I get used to the slight inbalance, and if not will have ( Read more... )

Yes, it was my dental check-up ... and all OK for another 6 months. Although my dentist tends to aim for a 9 month gap ... not that this worries me, as I am not a great fan of appointments. I had an early start yesterday as I had a dentist appointment to try to finally sort out my tooth problem.  Although she didn't think the treatment would work, it actually had ... so I was glad to know that she had saved the tooth and could do the final filling.  However, while there I also needed to show her where I had broken the front tooth off ( Read more... )

This morning I started with a trip to Torquay (where Mum & Dad used to live), and to St. Marychurch This district is about 2 miles from where we used to live, and from our view it looked as if the Church had a steeple and a tower.  In reallity the 2 Churches are about 100yds apart.
