It's amazing how much fic-writing you can get done when you have other things you need to be doing. Like, say, writing a follow-up letter to the place you really want to hire you because it would be amazing to work there and also I like to eat, but lots of times you need money to do that ( Read more... )

Things that inspire me to write:

1. Having something else essential that I need to do RIGHT NOW.

2. Seeing a shitty writer trash a fantastic premise, and wanting to school that bitch.

3. Fear of death.

Someday I will find an easy way to replicate all of these at once, and I will be a fiend of writerly efficiency.
