Mimi has been lying just outside my bedroom. I thought, “How sweet. She’s waiting for me.” She might have been doing so, but she also was getting the benefit of the heat vent :)

I set my usual sleep schedule into Apple, and it has an alarm that goes off at 7:30 AM each day. It woke me up. The cats want food and are restless.

One of my Facebook groups pointed me to The Good Life Abroad, which has programs in Florence and Paris. That would be awesome. I heard that they’re expensive though.

Forgot to mention that American Meadows says to plant wildflower seeds after a few hard freezes. The seeds will remain dormant until spring.

Oh crud. I thought that I registered for New Year's Eve 2025 in Paris, but I registered for this year. (I midread the "2025" in the description.) That won't work. It's looking like May won't work for Paris due to final exams, assuming that I get into the Masters in Computer Science for Data Science program. Zara has rediscovered the joy of hiding under a table with a tablecloth at the top of the stairs. When she was a young cat, she used to hide there and jump out at us, and we would pretend to be surprised. Now she just likes it as a place to hide.
