who would ever have thought this would happen?  it's the first episode of Spider-man, done Toei style, complete with subtitles.  amazing, and loads of fun to watch.  there's more action in this half hour than in 13 episodes of the US Spider-man show.  i wanted to post a comment there, but it wouldn't let me, nor would Marvel give me the code to ( Read more... )

parties are a lot of work.  i'd be making a killing if i was getting paid for all this.  it's nice, the whole family is here, and i can't remember the last time that happened, perhaps six years ago (during the "dark times").

and i'm still sleeping in my parents basement.

headed home to CO for a few days.  leaving on Thursday, my dad turns 80 in less than a week.   here's the notice from e-mail and otherwise for interested parties.  it's just a quick trip.

well, the folks will be leaving tomorrow, and thankfully Ginny will be driving them to the airport tomorrow, so i don't have to get up at some too early time and drive to El Cajon and then the airport.  i really appreciate that!
