No history of this situation has been included in this journal mostly because it all began when my mom died. Extreme synopsis: She founded and ran a dance studio all my life. Before she got sick, we had often talked about me taking it over in the distant future, maybe moving home and running it with her for a few years, then her passing the torch

I've been a workaholic for as long as I can remember, and I specifically remember thinking to myself that there was no way I'd take more than the minimum amount of maternity leave available to me. I am going to hit the hay soon but I wanted to remind myself of some things to write about later if I have time

I used to be such a journaling pro! It isn't that I don't want to write, or even that I don't have time.... Okay, I don't really have time. Or rather, I always have 43920894 other things I should be doing instead of journaling

I've been lamenting all week how I'm stuck inside catching up with my life while the weather outside is, for the most part, incredibly beautiful. Since I have mostly computer work to do, today I decided to take matters into my own hands and have set up a station on my balcony. I'm seated in one of my comfy lawn chairs amongst what I
