How was the year of 2011? It all began with a skiing trip to Norway. I was convinced I'd die, and I didn't, so I'd say that the start of the year couldn't have been better.

Spring should be here by now! Particularly as I have been out blóting - sacrificing - to the Norse divinities Frej, Freja and Idun to assure its coming. I even forced some friends to participate in the ritual. Well, not actually forced, since that would have been illegal, but I kind of coaxed them into participating.

The Storytelling Festival of this year is over. :'(
     It took place in my hometown last weekend, and it was so great. I've had a good week in Ljungby. It has included:

- Hanging with the Guinness club.

- Going to see fancy art at the museum.

- A dinner with Mum's friends and loooots of gossip.

- A party for my 11-year-old second cousin.

- Visiting my aunt and "uncle", having lots of tea and petting cats. <3

- Waitressing a dinner for 400 international students.

- Selling trendy clothes and shoes at a sale.

- Storytelling for a group of men.

- Meetings with the equality group in order to set the action plan for 2010.

Today was the day of the annual spring blot by the mounds of Old Uppsala, and once again I was a mess when I showed up there and a new person when I left. It's like a shot of adrenaline to the heart, being out there with all the other asatruers, pagans, wiccans, schamans and others. Music, dancing, happiness, darlings... energy.

Bob Dylan, you rock!
    I was at a Dylan concert yesterday! I'm ecstatic. Not only did he play Like a rolling stone, Blowin' in the wind, Just like a woman, When I paint my masterpiece and Don't think twice it's alright... HE PLAYED MAKE YOU FEEL MY LOVE!!! It's one of my top five favourite songs.

I have successfully travelled to Ljungby without falling ill! I don't have the flu, I'm not dying from a fever and certainly do not have chicken pox. For the first time in ages, going south doesn't mean getting knocked out.
      It could be because of the coming Yule celebrations, but I don't think so. After all, I am pagan....
