8 a.m.
I phone the Headmaster of Fornby Folk High School in Falun (FALUN?!), and tell him that I'll gladly accept the job he's offered me as a teacher. Plans are made. I get all dizzy. The scariness! :O

Since I started working for Uppsala Student Union, things have been quite hectic. Now, things have begun to settle down. Today, hence, the Student Union gives an obligatory lecture about avoiding stressing too much. The timing is epic.

     Anyway, I've been busy those last weeks, getting into my new job as student liaison officer, which includes introducing new students, giving speeches, taking care of problems, getting free lunches, living at castles and whatnot.

The Storytelling Festival of this year is over. :'(

I. Just. Had. Like. The. Best birthdei weekend ever! I know ever is a strong word, but it surely has been a marvellous weekend. I took the train back to dear old Ljungby last Friday, and then things went smoothly from there on.

- Waitressing a dinner for 400 international students.

- Selling trendy clothes and shoes at a sale.

- Storytelling for a group of men.

- Meetings with the equality group in order to set the action plan for 2010.

I spent the whole of yesterday waitressing, because people have to eat and drink on Sundays as well. I worked with really nice people and we did good even though we were given no dinner schedule, meaning we had to guess our way through the entire night. I've been doing things! I like doing things.
I've sewn an advent calendar out of red fabric for my darling, with much needed things stuffed into 24 little pockets. Beginning to feel ill again, which is my cue to staying away from student nations and what-not for a couple of weeks now. My body seems to know what it likes - and above all, what it doesn't like.
