How was the year of 2011? It all began with a skiing trip to Norway. I was convinced I'd die, and I didn't, so I'd say that the start of the year couldn't have been better.

Woohoo, is all I can say this very fine Sunday evening.

This Friday, I went to Gothenburg to see and above all listen to the legendary heavy metal band Iron Maiden. I tried to play nonchalant and sarcastic all day, referring to the fans as conformed cultists, but really, I was sooo moved by the whole happening.

X-Men III: The Last Stand. I don't know if it disappointed me. Perhaps my expectations were too high.
       Oh, it wasn't BAD, at all, just... lukewarm. I expected more from the mutants. Still, there were priceless moments. I'm not going to reveal them, in case you plan to see it, but... well, those moments saved the film.
