Yes, I took the title from the Spoony Experiment. I've always been watching movies and thinking I could do better; give or take a few billion $.
I recall one of them was, as a response to the incredible disappointment I had for 2000's Dinosaur, was a dinosaur film of my own. Yes, I remember this one from 10 years ago.
The plot, if I recall correctly, was based on an organized society of dinosaurs (no tools or anything like that, but they did talk and understand each other). The predators and herbivores were segregated into different regions. There was one region of neutral ground where the predators were allowed to hunt. The ruler was a Giganotosaurus. However, he is murdered by one of his generals, a Tyrannosaurus. The Tyrannosaurus, along with many carnivores, wanted to completely destroy the prey's safe zones and turn the prey into livestock. Tyrannosaurus and his army retreats into the desert to draw out the prey. The story involves a Triceratops (and his mentor, an old Styracosaur and his sons), an Ouranosaurus (who is kept out of management by the brutal leader of the herbivore forces, a Muttaburrasaurus), and a Deltadromeus (that, while being part of the Tyrannosaur's army, befriends the Ouranosaurus). Numerous action scenes ensue-a fight on an erupting lava bed, an ambush at an oasis, and a final battle during a rainstorm by a rocky cliff (yes, several characters go falling off).
I know that sounds bizzare, but I think it would have been better than the movie we got :p
