I've been recovering from a nasty cold, so my bike riding is way down. All the wind and rain clouds haven't helped. Hopefully the weekend will bring some long rides. I took the mountain bike out for a spin. Brrr. The trials are blocks of ice and the roads,while passable, have too many cars on them for my taste. After a day in the 30s on Saturday, the temps have plunged into the sub zero range. We had rain before it got cold and snow on top of that. Dangerous windchills out there right now. No bike riding today. That's alright, I'm enjoying reading McDevitt's The Devil's Eye. Plus Chuck and Big Bang Theory are both on tonight.

I'm thrilled that Chuck and Big Bang Theory have returned. I just wish they weren't on at the same time. It's nice to have Boston Legal back too, but they're making Denny Crane a bit too silly. There needs to be a better balance of serious and silly.

 I got the first direct-to-DVD Futurama movie today, Bender's Big Score. Woo-hoo! Too bad I'm working tonight and will have no time to watch it. Unless I decide to watch it anyway. It was anything but quiet at the library. Quite the change from selling books all weekend. I'll be spending more hours selling books to help pay for the increase in health care premiums.
