HK did his best to pick through the food that he was given, trying to figure out which one of the things on his plate was the 'potatoes' and which was the 'peas'. He had a fair idea, but with this place, he couldn't be sure. After all, the nurse had given him that white milk again. In a place where milk was white, he didn't have much certainty in any meatbag food products.

At least he wouldn't have to spend the whole night entirely alone with another sulking assassin. The maybe part-Ugnaught meatbag had been bizarre, but potentially tolerable. He was just rather unhappy about the prospect of dragging around noncombatants. They seemed to have somehow acquired two for the night. He sighed, letting his fork hit the probably-peas with a slight splat. At least he'd be able to kill things, soon...

Citan realized, as he was escorted back to his room, that he had not a single true ally in this place. He had never been one who gave or accepted trust easily, but it was still a touch disconcerting to know he was rather un-prepared for the nights.

Perhaps he could find those women he'd ran into last night. They had seemed pleasant enough company.

Ah well. Dinner first, and then he'd worry about that. He smiled politely to his roommate and sat down to eat.

HK looked up as his roommate entered. "Greeting: Hello, meatbag." Off to a better start than his last conversation, so far. He hadn't squeaked and toppled off his chair, for one. Or made any meatbag unhappy by having a good time (without killing anything, even!)...

Urgh. Damn that assassin. Any good mood from before? Totally, utterly crushed.

"And hello to you," Citan responded, folding his paper napkin on his lap. Dinner did look quite appetizing, at least. And full of essential proteins.

"How was your day?"

Jack trudged bitterly behind his nurse as they trekked back towards his room for dinner. He was mad, especially at Haku and that big guy who'd taken it upon himself to break his face (well, technically just his nose). Then to have to GALL to kick him in the nuts and make HIM into the bad guy...Jack couldn't stand it, even if he had expected as much ( ... )

Wesker made his way back to his room, expecting another quiet dinner shift with a sleeping room-mate. However, something was clearly wrong as soon as he stepped into the room.

That was not his room-mate, and he had a bloody nose.

"Hello," Wesker might as well by partially polite to him, if this was going to be his new room-mate.

Jack glared over his steak at his new room mate. He was in no mood.

"Nn."

At least he seemed talkative. If only Jack was in a better mood, he would have probably chatted him up. As it stood, Jack wasn't feeling particularly social.

"Nice sunglasses," he added, not so nicely.

Wesker returned the glare to little effect from behind his sunglasses, keeping his eyes from glowing and giving himself away just yet.

"Nice bruises," He countered, sitting down calmly to his dinner.

Recluse sighed once the nurse left, glad to finally be able to drop the 'nice, but stupid' act. He had work to do now, as usual. He started eating, writing yet another page of coded notes in his journal with his left hand. Hopefully, he wouldn't have to wait too long to get started. He had a sword and a knife to make tonight, and get the latest rust acid batch dried out. He had enough to make a few kilos of thermite, but there was still more to be made.

And he would have to keep a closer watch on some of his employees. It would be unacceptable to let things get out of hand again.

As was becoming custom, Goku walked in late. He grinned at his nurse, then, rather than selecting from the vegetable soup or caesar salad that was offered, he requested another steak. It was a no-go, and eventually the nurse must have decided on something on her own as she left after a few minutes of whining. She'd probably come back later with something, which wasn't a bad thing. At least it was more food, even if it wasn't what he wanted right then.

"Hey," of course he was grinning again, making some sort of greeting-type gesture with his hands. Directly after, he went over to his bed and sat down. "Are you going to eat yours?" He might as well ask.

"Help yourself." Recluse wasn't all that enthusiastic about the food, anyway. He pushed it towards his roommate and started work. A new handful of rust filings was switched out for the rust acid, which was left out to dry. It wouldn't be quite done by the end of dinner, but it would be close enough.

Another long piece of metal was taken from a hiding place to be hammered out and filed down to make a sword. It was dull work, but necessary. The weapons made good payment for those in his employ. After this, all he would need to make was a knife or two...

As the shift ended, the Superior found himself once again herded back to his room. Disregarding both the rambling from the intercom and his nurse's chatter, he proceeded to check upon his acquired items. After confirming they were still where he had left them, he sat down at the desk and began devouring his meal.

The last shift within the Sun Room had proved to be an interesting one. Although X hadn't quite succeeded in convincing Xemnas, he had no means to properly attend to the matter. Not yet, at least.

However, that other patient; Armand had been quite interested in the subject of nonexistence, something the Superior found remarkable. Perhaps this could be of use one way or another...

Even despite the change of scenery the game room had been a complete waste of time, which could have been expected. And of course, a certain worm apparently had nothing better to do but bothering him with stupid, trivial questions. Since when was he so interested, anyway?

Taking a seat as soon as Albel entered his room, he began eating his meal. That maggot of a roommate wasn't hear yet, which suited the warrior just fine. The more time he spend without any nagging worms, the better.

Well, that was pretty useless. It was looking like if he needed something, the staff wasn't going to very helpful, so he'd have to figure things out on his own. That suited Masaru just fine, but it didn't make it any less of a pain in the ass. He could have a quick wit if he really wanted to, but despite that, he was easily not the most resourceful of the human race.

The prospect of the night to come had him in decent enough spirits. It had been a while since he'd had a good man-to-man fight, and since his opponent was apparently pretty strong, he was fired up an just itching in anticipation.

So much so, that he absolutely could not sit still. His dinner was inhaled on the spot, and rather than lounging around on the bed as normal, he found himself pacing in a sort of bored anxiousness. Every now and then, he'd attempt sitting down, but was finding he could only stomach a few seconds of it before he was once again walking lines.

As usual, Albel merely ignored his roommate. After all, the maggot in question was hardly worth his attention. Instead, he found himself planning where he'd head to this nightshift.

Until the maggot's restlessness began to get on the Elicoorian's nerves.

"Would you stop that, maggot? It's irritating."

What, did this bastard have something to say for once? Too bad Masaru really could have cared less what he had to say.

"You trying to start something, asshole? Save it. If you're looking to get beat up, then you're going to have to wait in line." Sadly, he was booked for that night.
