As usual I both volunteered at and entered at the local county fair -- checking-in and judging Poetry entries for the former, and going with my usual handspun yarn for the latter. Got my third blue ribbon in a row for spinning, so I'm happy (even if it's always a small class and the competition isn't *that* fierce).

Oh, yeah, haven't seen this hitting the f-list really yet, so the good news for Cumberbatch-Hobbit fans is that he will indeed be voicing Smaug in the new movie. Cumber!Dragon, FTW! The fact the Necromancer's in there means that Jackson's probably going to be futzing with the story even more than he did in LOTR, which should piss me off, but the ( Read more... )
