Baby Alden's gift is now ready to be mailed. I finally got around to packaging it last night. No more than ten minutes later, I'm informed that another of my cousins and is wife is now expecting their baby #2 this October. Rather exciting, and of course, now I want to put together something special.

Oh yes, our work is never done.

First: Successfully finished both of the Granny's Favorite dishcloths from yesterday. Woot. :)

Second: I decided this afternoon that even as a square, the Diagonal Slant dishcloth pattern just didn't look right for what I wanted. A new pattern has been found (thank you, Ravelry!) and will be started this evening following homework.

It feels good getting back into the groove, even if just for a day. This past week was the first for summer classes. I'm in two for the month of May; between them and work, I have no real break between 7am and 4:30pm. This weekend was a nice break from all that, even if I spent a good chunk of today fighting a sinus pressure headache.

There will be none today I'm afraid. While I have finished knitting a couple of projects, they aren't quite picture ready. I'm hoping to remedy the problem this weekend; I have a couple of coupons to JoAnn Fabrics and a gift card received at Christmas from my mom. About a week or so before leaving for winter break, I taught a coworker to knit. Having watched me knit for some time, she finally one day just asked.
