As a runner, I had wanted to participate in the event, but you can only do so if your employer enters a team.  Last year, Time Warner entered, and I got to 'run'.  Now my attitude is, "yeah, I did that once".  The race is at 6PM.  A lot of the employers send a truck out in the morning to set up a pavillion with food for the runners.  I've seen ( Read more... )

I knew it's been awhile since I updated, I didn't realize it's been over two months!

The local fire department was offering free rabies vaccinations for both dogs and cats.  We got shots for all our critters, though it took us two trips to run everybody thru.  It went a lot smoother than I thought it would, they were all well-behaved.  Later ( Read more... )
