The weekend didn't turn out exactly as I hoped.  The Brass Ring Thing going to run from 11AM to 4PM with closing court at 5PM and then we were going to take a close friend out for her birthday.  We got up in the morning, planning to hit the road before 9AM, so we could be there at 11AM.  We discovered the raccoons had utterly trashed our container ( Read more... )

Overall, a relatively uneventful weekend.  I had been invited to be 'color' at Muddy Viking, an extreme 5K, but on Saturday morning, I was too tired to get out of bed so I slept in, instead.  Chores were done.  Then off to my mother's house because there was a blacksmith meeting on Sunday ( Read more... )
