Huzzah! After a few weeks of mediocrity, last week's sports column hit number 5 on GayWired this morning. Hoping my op-ed gets up there too!

Going to see Tina Turner in concert tonight, but the person who was taking me can't go so now I have an extra ticket. Gotta find someone to go with me!

Wish I had more time on this dissertation. I am having a blast with it! Not even kidding. Too bad that espresso shot + grande coffee didn't seem to kick in, or I would have gotten more done tonight. I'm looking at three consecutive all-nighters coming up (well, relatively at least), so maybe I should stock up on shut-eye.

I had a super surprising and fun evening last night, starting with Ashley coming over for dinner and a huge bottle of wine with her and Katie, then playing sort of a primer of Katie's new game BuzzWord while increasingly wine-filled). In news that is personally exciting, my latest This Gay Week in Sports column has reached the top five "Most Viewed" AND "Most Emailed" list on GayWired.com this week. This probably had a lot to do with the fact that three men appear nude or mostly nude in it, including the leadoff picture, but as it's only my third column (and it's about sports! ( Read more... )
