Katy Perry Kissed a Girl - Should We Like It?

Newest op-ed is up, and I got particular praise from the editor for this one; he also says the Sports Column is receiving good reviews as well. I'd really like to get this one on the "Most Viewed" and/or "Most Emailed" lists this week, so send it to your friends and all that good jazz. I am living on fumes, and had to opt out of seeing The Drowsy Chaperone with Jonathan tomorrow, which I really wanted to see, simply because I don't have any money...barely enough to buy food this week!
.
I still haven't heard about the job. They said "early next week," meaning this week. Of course the fact that I haven't heard anything today means in my silly mind one big FAIL but we'll see. If I haven't heard anything by the end of the day tomorrow I will, heartbroken, start back at square one looking for more jobs. Or, maybe I'll just do that now.
.
I had a great weekend; Katie and I went to a party at Andy's house, which was basically a Zeta class reunion. Dane, Jay, Marc, Andy, Andrew, Alex, Ryan, Chris, Jesse, and more were there, and we had a great time watching Planet Earth (now on my Netflix list) and catching up and watching illegal fireworks all over the ghetto. Andy et al live in a fabulous pink Victorian house on 23rd which is enormous and gorgeous. The next night Katie, Yasmin, Jonathan and I went with some of Yasmin's friends to the Edison, and then Justin met us at the Redwood bar where Katie and Justin and I danced and I left my keys at the Edison before the seven of us piled into Justin's Corolla so he could drive us home. Katie and I slept most of the day Sunday, me mostly because I was feeling sick and had something blocked, so I missed out on lunch with Andy and his girlfriend, although it works out because I really couldn't afford it anyway.
.
For now it's just waiting by the phone, and as it is twenty to five I guess I shouldn't expect a call today. I'm finally watching the HBO miniseries about Elizabeth I, which is like the movie Elizabeth but older, lower budget and with Helen Mirren. How fabulous is she? It has Jeremy Irons and Ian McDiarmid, which makes me once in a while think of Scar or Emperor Palpatine.
.
Sigh.
