While watching the adorable five year old golfer on Ellen, I also saw...wait, this is bad for advertisers...I can't remember the brand. But it was a cell phone commercial with an Asian boy sending out texts and videos of him dancing to ask girls to prom, and he gets a bunch of dates (weird, his dance moves are a bit strange). I usually hate Carl's Jr. commercials. However, the new one with the hot teacher and the white rappers talking about how they like "flat buns," which is a promo for a sourdough patty melt, is very funny. And the teacher is way hot. Especially with her glasses on.

Still amazed at the sheer number of Time Warner Cable commercials...I think there are at least twenty different ones. The advertising exec sure earned his money, even though I cringe at the huge price every time they say it (I would never pay 30 bucks a month for internet!). Sometimes a relatively benign television ad can find itself on my bad list merely by oversaturation. Perhaps this is not the advertisers' fault, although I suppose they should be conscious of the human ability to get sick of things. There's an ad for Rozerem, a sleeping pill, where a guy is confronted by his dreams at work (in the form of Abraham Lincoln, played by the guy who played Sherlock Holmes in an episode of CSI; a beaver; and a weird undersea water guy) and they tell him to call his doctor.
