Some of you who know me well know that I have a tendency to...well, absorb television advertisements, to say the least. To be frank, I have strong opinions on television advertisements, for several reasons. I don't agree with everything you said, but I strongly support barring CGI on animals mouths. It literally freaks me out. I have to cover my eyes and turn away when something comes on. I don't know why this is.

My only disagreement is with the Aflac commercials. They were funny for awhile, but now I am just damn tired of that bird.

David! Been busy so haven't kept up with the journal or with Facebook. Speaking of commercials, have you noticed that Levi has two different ads with the exact same layout, except for the fact that one features a girl and a guy whereas another one features two guys? It's the ad where the guy pulls on his pants and concurrently pulls up an entire city/life. I thought that it was interesting to see such a clear (yet subtle) difference in the ads depending on the target audience.

Oh, there's also two different ads I think for Sears or something, kids clothes, and the kids are exactly the same and make exactly the same movements but are wearing different clothes in each. How did they do it?

I'm still on the Asians-in-ads watch, too...
