The weekend was fun but tireing. Coen and Miriam came over on saturday for a kind of "high tea" party. Today Mark and I went to celibrate Samhain (pronounce as Sowwen) better known as Halloween. The festival is the witches newyear and the day of the year that the veil between this world and the realm of the death is very thin. Therefore it is easier to make contact with our dead friends or family members.

A while ago belsammael and I visited coen and irrimiri. We went walking in a forest near Apeldoorn. It was one of the last nice days of the year when the weather was still gentle. I was very tired after walking for a while though. irrimiri and I took a lot of pictures on the way. Mine mostly contain different kind of mushrooms. This weekend was anything but quiet. We strated off with the first Abunai manager and staff meet of the new con year. In total Mark and I were in the meetings from 10.00 till 17.00. I just had 4 days off from work, with my hours I have this luxury every 2 weeks however it seems that I really need those days off. I recharge my battery on these days. Last weekend Mark and I went to celebrate Mabon, the start of the fall. It was an awesome day. We learned how to make a new sheet of paper from all other pieces of paper, by hand. And we learned a lot about the Egyptian book of the dead, which was very educational and interesting ( Read more... )
