The weekend
I had a fun weekend! And since I still try to share fun stuff as well, here we go ;)
On friday after the salsa lessons we went to the b-day of a friend of mine. She had a baby not too long ago, but I didnt had time to go and see Mike properly yet. I did see him in the hospital but not anymore after that. And when he was awake it was not long before I got him on my lap. And I was like... erhm.. ok.... and Mark was like ooooh I got to take pictures of that! And I was like... great....
Anyway... the next day we went to a workshop to learn how to make shapes out of chocolate with premade filling. First we got to see the history of chocolate and what all needed to happen before you actually get chocolate. Did you know that if people would stop eating chocolate, Africa would even suffer more? Because they get a majority of their incomes out of working on cacao tree plantages? So everyone must keep eating chocolate. 2 blocks a day keeps the doctor away, seriously! Who needs apples..?
After that we learned how you have to work with chocolate and we got ourselves pre made filling (fudge) make a shape out of that, decorate it with nuts and dip it into the chocolate. (Its easier said then done) We were also allowed to decorate the chocolate further with coconut pieces, more nuts.. and so on. Mark thought this was the erotic workshop and tried to make boobie shaped chocolate!!!
Anyways.. it was fun and we are going to try it at home too!
That night we had the salsa groove workshop.. or rather workout XD You get to learn all kind of steps and put them together as a little dance. You learn a lot from it, like certain ways to move and its intensive as well. So I might take a full course on this cause it seems you will lose weight from it as well!
And yesterday we had a whole bunch of LARP-ers coming over to play Ovarion DnD. Its always good to see what Tom thinks up next and it inspiring too for the LARP version we are trying to create. We play Ovarion DnD once a month and we had another great session. After the session was over, we went to a local McDonalds (chicken mythic are tha shit!!). And last but not least we went to see Sabrina and Stefan in Uden. They had to conclude their beginner dance course and Mark and I promised we would come and watch. So we did and thay passed with great marks and flying colors. That concluded our weekend ;)
and now I have to study very hard this week... because I have an important exam next friday and I practicly need to know everything in the book! So.. yeah....
