Sometimes I carry Peanut on my shoulders over to a nearby street that has sidewalks (don't know why ours does not), and we run around. This time we were playing cops and robbers, which she's never played before, she must have seen it on TV. I took Peanut to the Zoo on Sunday to meet up with her cousin and her step-cousin. It's been a long time since she's been - last time she was still in her stroller. This time there was no stopping her and her cousin, they ran through the zoo at top speed, with us trailing behind shouting out what the animals were. Great fun was had by all ( Read more... )

Looks like Ida is going to be a tropical storm, not a hurricane, when it hits. It also is going to clear out of here before Jen and Peanut's flight to go see her mother on Wednesday. We were worried about that, so that is good news. Went out and filled up the gas tank on both cars last night, in case fuel supply is disrupted. All our fuel ( Read more... )
