zoo trip
I took Peanut to the Zoo on Sunday to meet up with her cousin and her step-cousin. It's been a long time since she's been - last time she was still in her stroller. This time there was no stopping her and her cousin, they ran through the zoo at top speed, with us trailing behind shouting out what the animals were. Great fun was had by all.
We had a pleasant day today, we went to a park by the water that I hadn't been to before, and then we went to the mall and had lunch and Jen did some shopping. Unfortunately Peanut's coming down with a cold (I fear I will be next). She fell asleep in the car on the way home and had a _long_ nap, which should be good for her. We'll skip dance class tomorrow since she's sick, which makes things easier anyway since we've put the Subaru in the shop for a new head-gasket and rear main seal (ouch).
