I have Type 3 curly hair (Caucasian)  which often gets very dry. My housemate is black and suggested I try this shampoo and conditioner that she uses:

I've been experimenting with home-based soaps and shampoos for several years.  I've also tried to use household items for cleaning agents whenever and where ever possible.  Baking Soda, Vinegar, Cream of Tartar, Lime Juice, Honey, Salt, and tons of other things can come in real handy ( Read more... )

I know this question has probably been asked hundreds of times, but... hair care products. My hair becomes a greasy mess without shampooing at least occasionally, so no-poo is a no-go.
