I love this community, I watch it...:) Yay for curly girls and boys! Here is my question. I really want to dye my hair (first time) and I'm not sure what color to do! What do you think would be flattering? I kind of want to go blonde...but nobody thinks it's a good idea. I have very pale skin and the thought is it will wash me out.

My hair is more wavy than big, bouncing curls. I find that I have to saturate it with some sort of product/serum/oil to keep the poofiness down and the waves/curls defined & separated. I still haven't found the "Holy Grail" product that is so wonderful I must buy it over and over again. Does anyone have a product they put in after washing that ( Read more... )

i am looking for a good leave-in conditioner which does not leave a sticky effect. i dont like to wash my hair everyday, but some leave in products and gels makes dry hair feel sort of sticky and knots up my hair. i dont want a gel.. or a curlifier (is that a word??ah well).. just something that will keep my hair from being really dry.. this ( Read more... )

I discovered a new frizz tamer today. It's an Aussie product called Dual Personality: Anti-frizz + Leave-in Conditioner. It's a creme that made my hair soft and helped a lot with the frizz. Question:

Does anybody have any suggestions for a light, nice smelling leave in conditioner? I feel like my hair really needs to be topped off with a leave in conditioner but a lot of them make my hair look greasy and hard, even if I don't use much. I want to control the frizzies without it being too heavy. Any suggestions?
