It is Tynwald Day. Our island parliament celebrates its 1,044th birthday with the usual outdoor reading of the laws, and so on. I celebrated by doing a bit of weeding, and going out this afternoon for coffee and cake with S2C...

So - I'm so pleased to see that the Great Plagiarist Cassie Clare is actually being taken to courtFandom folk were as much amused as anything when EL James took her Twilight fanfic and tweaked it a little to give Fifty Shades of Grey - the main gripe was actually that there was much better fanfic around.
