Sorry I've not been very visible - but I have actually been writing, for the first time in ages. Currently the bits of writing are only at twistedshorts, but I will gather them together and post elsewhere soon

The boots are really beautiful but I can't wear heels that high, not even wedges, with my picky feet. I love the design though and I'm glad they're comfortable for you.

I am usually much the same, but I have a pair of shoes by the same people which are wide, with good soles, and so I thought it worth a try. I'm not sure I could walk miles in them, but I went to church and to visit Mum and they were fine. Definitely not going to be my every day footear, though.

The boots are by a company called Goby and I bought them online through Zulily - when they were reduced to £55.

Thank you. I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to wear them, but whilst they are not as comfortable as my sandals, nothing is anyway!
