It's been a nice, sunny, day today. I spent an hour after lunch weeding the fruit bed as the raspberry canes are coming into leaf, and planting some summer bulbs in one of the troughs. Whilst I was out there I heard the first bees, in the rosemary ( Read more... )

Our lockdown ends at midnight tonight and we go back to where we were before. Borders almost closed (you need a permit to travel and a written agreement that you will either pay for three tests or spend 21 days in self-isolating quarantine when you come back), but otherwise no requirement for masks or social distancing and everything open as usual ( Read more... )
