Friday night beginning at 7 was the annual Shake-a-thon for charity. This year's theme was "Shake it like a Polaroid picture - shake it for a cause!" The money raised through ticket sales and donations went to Mary House: a homeless family shelter. Man. This has been an awesome couple of weeks. Real spring break connected to "Cathy" spring break. 12 days of fun, adventure and laziness. I learned about myself while alone and learned about others and life when cathy was here. It feels so surreal to have Cathy staying here with me at school. It seems like only yesterday we were lowly high schoolers bartering with our parents to let us stay out past 11:30. Now, Cathy is staying with me, at COLLEGE, and we are on our own schedule with no one telling us when and what to do. It is great! Im so thankful that her parents let ( Read more... )
