I've just discovered that writing personal statements is a very difficult and humbling experience

I decided it would be a good idea to take out a $1200 short-term loan from the UW and buy a plane ticket to Portugal to visit eurowonger for 5 weeks. I'm already $20,000 in debt, whats another grand or so?
