Last month I had an epiphany.

So this weekend was the 19th Annual Sewing and Craft Show in Victoria, BC.    1 Surprisingly, I’ve never been to it before *gasp!*, but this year my darling twin was able to comp me some tickets! I love cats.

To most of you this is no surprise.  Unfortunately though, I don’t happen to be lucky enough to co-habit a space with one.  *sad face*  My philosophy has long been this;  a home is not a home without a cat.

So until that day when I’m lucky enough to be adopted by a kitty, I’ve had to improvise a little.

The Granny square stitch and subsequent variations are totally awesome and totally easy.  The double crochets just flow through my fingers so naturally that even when I want to do a single crochet, I find myself instinctively yarning over in preparation of that beautiful stitch.
