Cat sitting for eldest.

It rained a lot last night. Easily an inch of water in the bottom of my garbage can this morning.

Ghost found me a scorpion last night. That's 3 total found by the new kitties. First one in the new year.

The camera has trouble focusing on him sometimes, but this sweet boy jumped onto me while I was laying in bed, purred and cuddled, then settled in for a nap.

Due to kittens, one of the few good things to come out of 2020, we had to take precautions with the Christmas tree this year.

We decided to put the Christmas tree in a cage this year to keep the cats off of it. Since that meant a tree under 4 feet, M brought home a live one. It will be planted in the chicken yard when we are done with the holidays. C is already hoping this becomes a tradition and I end up with a pine forest someday.

Sunday.

We managed a couple episodes of Stargate: Atlantis. S and I tried to finish our current 1500 piece puzzle while watching, so we could put it away and put the Christmas tree in it's place next weekend. C even helped some after.

They were close, but not quite finished.

Less than an hour later, Shadow knocked the entire thing to the floor.

Tuesday.

C was still a little sick, so we skipped gaming/park day.

S drove out with H again. They couldn't hang out as late as last week because S was invited to go bowling with coworkers.

Newkie was allowed out of the bathroom during the day, then put back in for the night.

Monday.

The swelling went down even more. Newkie almost convinced me to let her out of the bathroom.
