Until such time as I’m able to get my laptop working again it looks like this will be the nature of my weekly comics. Black, white, and hand-drawn. On the other hand they are available for sale.

Bellingham is a college town, there’s very little industry, and there’s a urban legend about a curse that says if you leave Bellingham you’re doomed to return. With the number of people I know who have left and returned, I’m almost inclined to believe it.

The vast majority of cartoonists in Bellingham have degrees in, or at least have worked in, graphic design. I think it’s partially because there are about 100 designers for every design job in the county.

This was originally based on some commentary by Jesse’s fiance Bethany, come to find out years later that apparently this happens to a lot of women. That troubles me. I’m a geek, but I’ve always tried to show some self control. Even before I lost my virginity. Almost to a fault.

I was talking to Robyn one day and he told me that his reasoning for drawing comics in 3 panels is the same as Jim Davis’. He’s inherently lazy. I wonder if that’s why Matt and Ian of MacHall are doing what they’re doing.

My friend Bud and his friend Scott did have this conversation. It should be pretty accurate. Scott had an RX7 he was suping up as I recall. Did all sorts of stuff to it but didn’t get it running. I don’t even think he has it anymore.
