My friend Bud and his friend Scott did have this conversation. It should be pretty accurate. Scott had an RX7 he was suping up as I recall. Did all sorts of stuff to it but didn’t get it running. I don’t even think he has it anymore.

After Jonathan started dating Julie he came into the Black Drop Coffeehouse one day and I looked at him and saw that we were dressed more or less identical. Back in the day I used to play EverQuest with my friends. I unfortunately (or maybe fortunately) never became addicted to it, no matter how I might try. But I did decide to do this comic for one of my friends as a Christmas gift. It’s an illustration of his favorite character. An EverQuest Necromancer named Garb.
