I totally feel like a sim in Sims 2 Seasons.
I'm a total geek.
I wonder if this should count towards WW APs?

Also, after crying in bed this morning I asked Kevin if he could please be helpful and clean up the kitchen. 
    I should totally cry more often before I ask for a favor, it was done when I got home.

When having a dog, the 10 second rule is no longer in effect... you either let the dog eat it or toss it.  There is always at least 1 hair on anything that comes off the floor, food or not.

I just made my favorite muffins.  But after watching plenty of Good Eats with Kevin and having gotten him both of Alton Brown's cook books for his birthday... I've realized that Martha Stewart doesn't use the a muffin method, they are totally cake.  Also, making blueberry muffins with frozen blueberries makes for purplish muffins.

So we've moved. 
It sucks for all the main reasons but we have other shitty reasons.
-the master bedroom has 2 closets.  the one Kevin has is narrower than standard size.
-one second bedroom has fogged over windows with the fog between the double panes.
-the second bedroom smells like an ashtray.
-the kitchen DOES NOT have a drawer wide enough to hold ( Read more... )

Who knew that trying to get two people to decide on a paint could be so hard.

Kevin decided that we should paint an accent color in our new apartment.  We couldn't decide on the same color at all, we left with nothing.
Maybe we'll revisit this subject sometime this weekend, when we actually have keys and such.
