When having a dog, the 10 second rule is no longer in effect... you either let the dog eat it or toss it. There is always at least 1 hair on anything that comes off the floor, food or not.
I bought these cute little key covers. I think they are really cute. I used 2 of them to put on my house keys, I seem to have to many things on my key ring and thought this would make them a bit easier to find.. I offered some to Kevin but sadly he said no. I told him he was boring.
Since I'm trying to cook more I went to Half Price Books to check out their cookbooks. I bought a Cook's Illustrated book. Normally $24.95 and I paid $7.99. Sweet! Actually, they had quite a selection of cookbooks... some cheap, some high end. I also convinced my mom that I would make the gingerbread cookies she wanted IF she would buy me a french rolling pin, and she did. and she bought an over priced one at Williams Sonoma.
I really need a wall coat rack to put on our bedroom. The weather seems to be cold to medium cold... every jacket in the house seems to be draped over chairs in the living room.
This morning I was at a friend's house. She was talking to her in-laws in Great Britain. She said that she had started decorating the house and the response must have been something like "so soon?" because she said "oh yeah, it's pretty much tradition around here to do it the weekend after Thanksgiving." See, British people aren't nuts like Americans.
Speaking of things that are British... I got caught up on EastEnders and Bean told me to go to Uknova.com to download it and that they download all sorts of stuff all the time. Okay, I finally went to the sight and you have to be a member... and they aren't taking any new members?! Fuck.
