mad house keeping skills.
Horray for being domestic!
-I made batch of soup! I was hoping it would have been bigger, but at least we can get get 4 servings out of it!
-I made my blueberry muffins that are more cake than muffins. But, Kevin eats them up and thats what counts.
-LAUNDRY! I hate all these button up shirts of Kevin's that need to hang dry.
My grandma is going to make a half apron!!! You have no idea how stoked I am about this. I asked if she had any old ones hanging about that she might be willing to part with and she said no. But she said she would make me one! Sweet! I get to pick out an awesome fabric that suits me. I keep thinking it might be handy to have a sewing machine.
Sewing is one of those skills that I have that I don't let other people know I have it. I know how to sew, I learned at a very young age. But, my mother is this crazy master sewing/quilting freak. If my mom enjoys sewing, why should I have to sew? And if I tell people I can sew, I'll get stuck hemming and replacing buttons for more people than I'd like. Its a secret skill, you have no idea I have it and you better forget I ever said anything about it.
