I just went back to check when I last wrote here, and was simply alarmed to find how long it had been. Alarmed!  I haven't really talked about it here, but my grandma has been having heart troubles for awhile. Last year, she was informed that she needed surgery or she would only have a couple of years left.  Luckily, there is a new procedure that is far less dangerous than the open heart surgery she would have had to go through otherwise.  It has a 5% ( Read more... )

 My cousin's funeral was this week, so I went back to Saskatoon for that, and was part of a group of family members who sang at the service.  We held the wake at our house and, as inappropriate as it sounds to say, it was actually fun.  There were lots of people there I hadn't seen in at least a few years, and Nolan was there, plus the usual gang ( Read more... )

My dad and I had a conversation the other day about my phone plan.  You see, I was never on a plan for texting.  So, now that I text more often, it has come to his attention that my cell phone bill is...more expensive.  He told me he was going to sign me up for a new plan.
