So very proud of Shrek, who achieved a declared goal by riding in his first horse show last weekend. There was the requisite behind-the-scenes drama, as the horse he had learned to ride on, had been riding since last summer, and had bonded very strongly with, left the barn rather suddenly three weeks ago. We have a cherished set of Star Trek drinking glasses. Shrek had adopted Jim as his "good behavior" glass. It was a great motivator for him to do well at school and garner the necessary amount of good behavior points to "make level".
