Listening to the recording with my dad. This is simultaneously the best Christmas story, the best flying story, and the best ghost story I know. As well as the only Vampire story I really like.

Okay. My brother and I have arrived in Miramichi--rained the whole way except for the last half hour which was snow, welcome to the Maritimes--and are hanging out with the folks. By far, my favourite Christmas special is not a Christmas special at all: it's the Little Mosque On the Prairie Eid special--which is about being Muslim in small-town Canada, which means there is a lot of Christmas to elbow out of the way.
