I didn't bother mentioning this when I wasn't posting, but I've set the comments in this journal to friends-only in the wake of a truly impressive level of spam over the past few months. There's been a bit of a rise in spam lately, so I've set the default for comments to "Screen all non-friend comments." So, anonymous comments as well as those by LJs not on my f'list will have to wait before they're visible. I plan to approve any comments that are demonstrably made by an actual human. Sorry for the appearance of unfriendliness.

I posted this several years ago and it's hit several times a week, mostly (I assume) by people who used to own the cookbook I got it from and are googling "Canadian Living Banana Bread."

If you're into this kind of sweet breakfasty bread, I can't recommend this recipe highly enough!

Yes, well, you know how I get. Last night (having returned the library materials I did not check out last week) I picked up two hold items: A Fish Called Wanda and Halfway To Hollywood, the second installment of Michael Palin's diaries.
