The bus ride was very nice, although not very fast. I highly recommend it if you have all day free and want to get around the city for some sight-seeing. It's probably pretty handy for general transportation if you live closer to downtown. I have boarded the nashville mta bus and it is very nice. It looks like I will be the only passenger for now. One hour to the hub station and then a quick ride to the airport.

We're doing a nontraditional Christmas this year, something we've done in the past because everyone has such crazy schedules. My sister and her husband flew in on Saturday (and boy are their arms tired) and we had Christmas dinner yesterday. After Nashville, I spent the night in ATL and continued on to Tampa, FL. I've had a really great visit so far. The food has been fantastic, and we've been going out and doing fun stuff as well.

I'll probably head back on Tuesday and arrive in Memphis on Wednesday. Sorry about the brevity of this post but I'm feeling lazy. I'm on VACATION!

In other news, things have been pretty quiet around the house. My mom has been in Texas for a few weeks now, to spend time with my grandma who just had major knee surgery and is already up in the rehab ward. My dad has been coming and going on trips.
