March is halfway through, and the sun is finally shining again.

SFinSF Steampunk night was a nice warmup for Nova Albion which was also great fun, the birthday party lady_leandra  and I  hosted turned out better than I had imagined. I am now looking forward to a few weeks without major events of any type.

This past weekend, and this week, have been all about getting ready for Steam Powered. Over the weekend sinmix , clockworkbuddha  and self hit Scrap, which was a little overwhelming but tons of fun. Has anyone taken any of the classes at Beadissimo? I'm vaguely thinking about taking the basic wire techniques class and was wondering if it's worth it. $45 doesn't seem bad-but I don't know how hard this stuff is to learn.
