I've been continuing the process of getting all my old fan writing up on my website, and am happy to say I'm done with all five years of convention and event reports from SF/SF. The slow process of getting my website up to date continues apace, specifically still working on archiving all my fan writing with correct formatting, dates and links-which is a bit tedious but also nice to go back and look at it all. Two perspectives on Renovation (one from from lady_leandra and part II ofjohncoxons TAFF piece), my own Geek Girl Con report, a nice write up on Marian Call's visit to the Bay area from Thad Gann, some Hugo thoughts from johnnyeponymous, a tribute to Steve Jobs also fromjohncoxon , plus the usual LOCs, calendar, and BASFA minutes.

In a few hours I head out to take the train up to Seattle for Geek Girl Con, which oughta be fun. I'm staying a couple of days after the con to check out Seattle, which I've never properly visited, and then on the way back home I'm stopping in Oregon to visit with a cousin I've never met before. So all in all a full week coming up.

I booked my hotel room for Reno when the block opened this morning, better safe than sorry and all that. Decided to go with the Atlantis, since it's both the party and panel-adjacent hotel, although it seems like a lot of my costumer friends will be at the Peppermill.
