The move is now complete, in the sense that my possessions are in my new apartment and the Internet works in the place. LOTS of stories to tell about the last few days, but that will have to wait till tomorrow or later. But to follow up on the vagrant situation, my landloard came to the building, found him, and got the cops to get him out! He e-mailed me as I was on my afternoon date today. But now, CABERET!!!

On Sunday Artsygrrl and I went to IKEA. For weeks I've been trying to figure out a solution for my desk/AV center. I've been using my my Laver dining table and a old green card table as my desk. My landloard just texted me saying he's in Europe. Between his suggestions of bleach w/ opening windows and being able to ID the non-toxic and harmless fungus, I can sleep a bit better tonight.

Update about the fridge: The fan that blows cold air into the main cabin is broken. It works, it runs, but at a very slow speed. The part is getting over-nighted, so the repair guy is returning Thursday around one (hopefully coinciding with the movers).

Yes, I haven't mentioned that my parents were in town this past weekend. And yes it was awesome to see them for the weekend. In addition to getting some things that require a car, we took a trip out to Portsmouth, NH; A nice escape out of the city.
